Shaan's all set for a musical Hungama

Shaan, the award winning popular Indipop singer, is now busy singing lullabies. But that’s exclusively for his bundle of joy, one-year-old baby boy, Soham. Yes, Shaan was on a long vacation with his family and now he wants to come back with other shaandaar hits after a gap of a few months.
“For the last few months, I was not in the music circuit.I was busy with my family, went abroad on a vacation. So, I couldn’t even perform. But now I am back,� said Shaan, who was in the city on Wednesday for a fashion show at the Oberoi Grand.
After the success of his album Tanha Dil, which stayed on MTV charts for a record number of weeks and went on to bag the MTV Asia award in the ‘Favourite Indian Artiste — Pop Category’ in 2002, Shaan is now busy with his next pop album.
“This album will come up by the end of this year, the name of which has not been finalised yet. It will be a collection of my best tracks powered by some deadly beats and will be different from the previous ones,� he said.
Apart from this, he is busy with his playback singing and waiting for his forthcoming releases Hungama and Qayamat. “Though now I am more focussed on playback singing, Indipop and remixes are my other priorities.
"After the success of remix albums like Instant Karma and three Dance Masti albums, I am working for the fourth Dance Masti album with numbers like Pyar manga hai tumhise etc,� he said Shaan is now working with almost all top of the line music composers Adesh Srivastava, A. R.Rahman, Shankar Ehsan Loy, Anu Malik others.
“I am getting offers from eminent music composers and learning a lot from them. After the major success of Musu musu hasi from Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, O Re Kanchi from Asoka, Rama re from Kaante, and of course the numbers from Dil Chahta Hai, I am looking for more such hits, for which people will remember me,� he signed off.
